Everything we make is small-batch and packed by hand. Here's how it gets to you.

Sauces & seasonings

Sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, usually within 2–3 working days.

  • Orders under £30 — £4.95
  • Orders £30–£49.99 — £2.95
  • Orders £50 and over — free

Kimchi (chilled)

Our kimchi is alive and still gently fermenting, so it travels with care. Each order is packed in natural wool insulation with ice packs and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24. We only post kimchi Monday to Wednesday, so it never sits in a depot over the weekend.

  • Orders under £40 — £9.95
  • Orders £40–£59.99 — £5.95
  • Orders £60 and over — free

Kimchi is delivered to UK addresses only. If you live in a remote area, please email us before ordering so we can make sure it arrives cold.

Ordering kimchi and sauces together? They're priced as two deliveries at checkout, because kimchi needs its own chilled packing.

Kimchi Club (subscription)

Your kimchi arrives every month with chilled delivery at a flat £7.95, plus 10% off every box. Pause, skip or cancel at any time.

Free collection by arrangement

Choose Pickup at checkout and we'll message you within 3 working days to agree a time and place — usually at one of our weekend markets (Marlow, Richmond, Ruislip, Reading and more). Please wait until we've confirmed before coming.

When your kimchi arrives

  • Put it in the fridge straight away.
  • It's a living food — it may be lightly fizzy and will slowly become more sour. That's natural fermentation, and sour kimchi is perfect for stews and fried rice.
  • Open the jar slowly, over the sink.

If something's not right

If your parcel arrives damaged, leaking or warm, email us at contact@ssug.life within 48 hours with a photo, and we'll replace your order or refund you.

Outside the UK

Sauces and seasonings can be sent to the EU (£9.99) and selected countries (from £10.99). Kimchi is UK only.

Christmas 2026

To receive your order before Christmas, please order by:

  • Sauces & seasonings — Tuesday 15 December
  • Kimchi — Sunday 20 December (posted Monday 21 December)
  • Collection at our markets — the weekend of 19–20 December (please order by Wednesday 16 December)
  • Gift cards — any time, sent instantly by email

Orders placed after these dates will be sent as soon as we're back after Christmas.
